It has never been more difficult to be a teenager.
The pressure upon believing young people to reject or abandon the faith of their families is invasive and oppressive. Christian teenagers often feel more isolated in their faith than ever before in our nation’s history.
That is why Camp Areté exists.
This week-long summer camp experience (July 14–July 20, 2024) is designed with our young people in mind. Areté provides a fun adventure and a chance to connect with other believers from around the world. Each year camp concludes with campers having made great eternal friendships and an experience that will encourage them.
That, however, is not the central mission of Camp Areté.
Every year students who come to Camp Areté are built up in a way that is rare among Christian camps. Hours of solid Bible teaching and meaningful interactions with counselors bring noticeable growth and change in the lives of young people. You can send teenagers (13–18 years old) to Camp Areté with confidence that they will come back rooted and established in God’s Word and excited to continue to grow and serve Jesus Christ.
The focus of Areté is unique in that, rather than simply entertaining the campers, the goal of the staff of Areté is to see the students equipped and prepared for service in the Church. Year after year we have seen campers return to their home church with a renewed desire to proclaim the gospel, serve in church ministries and missions, and be more involved in pursuing Christ with their local church family.
Areté exists to support your desire to see young believers take up the standard and to grow spiritually.
