We had seven Servant Leaders this year in our two-year leadership program which was designed to develop future counselors and staff.

We focused daily on leadership examples from Scripture.
On Sunday evening our Servant Leaders were introduced to their duties.
The main focus of our Servant Leaders was to assist Camp Arete staff to lead, support, and motivate campers while being positive, proactive, and loving. We love our campers!
The Servant Leaders aided the counselors in many ways. They helped to wake up campers and make sure that each got involved in activities and group discussions. Servant Leaders were a big help by stepping into counselor duties when their counselor was attending to someone else or needed rest.
After each meal, a Servant Leader led KP with two to three campers under their direction. They also straitened up after Bible classes and set up for various events. The Servant Leaders had a successful week!
